Du'a Before Eating
Ash-hadu an la ilaha illa-Allah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu

Astaghfirullaahu 'l-`Azeem (3x)
Fa in tawallaw faqul hasbeey-Allaahu laa ilaaha illa Huuw `alayhi tawakaltu wa

Ila sharafi 'n-Nabee sall-Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, wa aalihi wa ashaabihi 'l-kiraam
wa ila arwaahi abaa'ina wa ummahaatinaa wa hadarati ustaadhinaa wa ustaadhi
ustaadhinaa wa 's-siddeeqeeyyeen al-faatiha.
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhhammad
is His Slave and Messenger
I ask forgiveness from Allah (3x)
But if they turn away, Say: "Allah is sufficient for me: there is no god but He:
in Him I place my trust – and He is the Lord of the Throne Supreme."
We send this (as an offering) to the Honored Prophet, upon whom be Allah's peace
and blessings, to his family and his companions; and to the souls of our
fathers, our mothers, our venerated teachers and the teachers of our teachers,
and the veracious ones. (Recite) Surat al-Fatiha.

Rabbanaa taqabbal minna bi-hurmati sirri suuratu 'l-fatiha
Praise be to Allah who fed us, who quenched our thirst, who made us to be
Muslims. Praise be to Allah, a praise such that it equals to His favors, and
meets His increase (of His favors); a praise which is adequate to the
magnificence of your Magnificent Countenance. Grant us the favors of the mighty
one of Allah, the blessing of the intimate friend of Allah, the intercession of
the Messenger of Allah. Oh Allah honor the owner of this food and those who are
eating from it. Oh Allah increase and do not diminish. We send this as an
offering to the Honored Prophet, upon whom be Allah's peace and blessings, to
his family and his companions; and to the souls of our fathers, our mothers, our
venerated teachers and the teachers of our teachers, and the veracious ones.
(Recite) Surat al-Fatiha.
