HRH The Prince of Wales was Chief Guest at "Spirituality in Action", which recognises the contribution of Sufi arts, culture and knowledge to 21st Century life at a gathering of Britain's diverse Sufi Muslim community at Old Trafford.

The event was hosted by Shaykh Mohammed Hisham Kabbani and The Centre for Spirituality and Cultural Advancement and featured a talk by Sufi Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil by video conference from Cyprus.

Aims of the event:

• To highlight the impact of spirituality on young peoples lives.

• To show examples of positive rehabilitation through spiritual experiences.

Shaykh Hisham Kabbani is the spiritual guide of the Centre for Spirituality and Cultural Advancement. His efforts are directed at bringing the diverse spectrum of religions and spiritual paths into harmony and concord, in recognition of mankind's responsibility as caretaker of this fragile planet and of one another.
