Fajr prayers in the Naqshbandi Zawiya in Baykoz, north of Istanbul. The Zawiya is located near the Black Sea end of the Bosphorus, next to the grave of Wali Akbaba Sultan.

His name was Ak Aba, which means a person who wears white. He was a Mevlevi-Qadiri Shaykh from Bukhara, who originally came walking from there with the Shaykh of Sultan Mehmet Fatih, Shaykh Akshemsettin.

He and Shaykh Akshemsettin both saw a dream in which they saw that Sultan Mehmet Fatih would conquer Constantinople, fulfilling the Hadith of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s) where he said, "You will conquer Constantinople. What a blessed leader is the leader of the army that does so, and most esteemed is that army."

After the jihad when Constantinople was finally taken and renamed Istanbul, Wali Akbaba asked for a piece of land from the Ottoman Sultan for building a Zawiya. The area was dedicated as a Dergah, a spiritual center for teaching and practicing Tasawwuf.
