Shaykh Hisham attended as guest of honor and keynote speaker the spiritual conference on Islamic mysticism in Columbia SC.

Shaykh Hisham addressed the gathered assembly for khutbat al-Jumu`ah speaking on the importance of stopping the onslaught against the true faith of Islam, the classical Islam that was brought down to us by our forefathers and their forefathers in an unbroken chain from the time of the Prophet Muhammad, upon whom be peace and blessings.

Citing the example of the termite,

Shaykh Hisham stated that those who oppose classical Islam are like these insects in that if you allow one to enter your home, it will end up being destroyed.

For this reason, like termites, those who oppose classical Islam must be eliminated from our houses: homes, houses of worship, bookstores, schools and all gathering places where traditional Muslims meet to prevent them from poisoning the young generation.

For example one termite may lay thousands of eggs. When they hatch they will literally infest an entire house and with their tremendous appetite, soon eat through all its wooden frame.

Just so have the those who oppose classical Islam, by means of their oil-funded scholarships, their mosque building programs, their massive publications program of free literature, they have managed to contaminate millions upon millions of Muslims with their false and deviated teachings.

Following Sunnah prayers, an honored Guest Qari from Pakistan greets Shaykh Kabbani
as do many attendees, seeking his dua.
